Yas Floors is a family-run business built on generations of skill, resilience and care.
Our story began in Afghanistan in the 1970s, where carpet weaving provided our family with a livelihood during difficult economic times. What began as a means of survival soon developed into a passion — and that passion became a highly skilled craft.
Over the years, our family's expertise led to work for prestigious hotels in Islamabad and other high-profile institutions. After moving to the UK, this traditional knowledge was combined with hands-on experience at Carpetright and a deep understanding of the modern British flooring industry.
Today, everything we have learned lives on through Yas Floors. Our knowledge of materials, texture, construction and installation gives us a level of expertise that is both rare and deeply personal.
But we are not only passionate about floors — we are passionate about people. We want every customer to bring their ideas, style and creativity to us. With your vision and our expertise, we can create a space that feels entirely your own.

The showroom

Our shop on George Lane is where the samples live. Carpet, laminate, LVT and wood are all racked side by side, so you can compare finishes and colours in daylight rather than guessing from a photograph.
